A very fine early 19th-century Grand tour specimen marble top table. The tabletop is inlaid with 100 individual segmented marble and agate specimens with banded rings of marble to the outer part. The tabletop is raised on a late 18th-century Georgian mahogany tripod base terminating on cabriole legs with pad feet. This mahogany base has a great patina and warm hue to it. The simple structure of the base complements the marble top and allows the splendour of the marble top to showcase itself.
