Anglo-Indian occasional coffee table

A beautiful mid-century Anglo-Indian coffee table with intricately carved and bone inlay details. The border has a beautiful floral carved detail with further intricate inlay patterns on show. There is also a lovely string inlay on both ends of the table with “Queen ‘Alizbat’ (Elizabeth) England”. This was a tribute from the craftsmen to the new Queen of England in 1952/53, somewhere between becoming Queen of England and HRH’s being crowned in 1953.
