A charming Victorian burr walnut and ebonised wood pier cabinet of elegant proportions, beautifully adorned with decorative gilt-metal mounts and a single glazed door featuring finely executed inlaid decoration.

The cabinet comes with a working key and has been sympathetically relined in luxurious Shiraz velvet, a period-appropriate fabric that enhances its presentation while remaining in keeping with its age and character.

Condition: Presented in very good antique condition. There are one or two small losses to the burr walnut veneer at the base, which are unobtrusive and only apparent upon close inspection. The top has light surface marks consistent with age and use.
