A superb quality vintage Regency Revival solid mahogany window seat of elegant lyre-end form, expertly crafted in the late 20th century (circa 1975–1990) and faithfully inspired by early 19th-century English Regency designs.

Constructed entirely from solid mahogany, the bench features finely carved lyre splat ends with decorative bronze string details, reeded uprights, turned stretcher rails and graceful sabre legs. The quality of carving, timber selection and traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery place this piece well above the standard of most reproduction furniture from the period.

The seat has been professionally reupholstered in William Morris 'Strawberry Thief' jacquard woven fabric, an iconic Arts & Crafts design that complements the rich mahogany beautifully while providing a fresh, luxurious finish suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
