A charming early 20th-century Edwardian mahogany piano stool, dating from around 1900–1910. Elegantly crafted, it features beautifully shaped scroll arms, graceful cabriole legs and a hinged lift-up seat revealing the original storage compartment, designed for sheet music.

The stool has previously been stripped from its original darker finish, leaving a wonderfully mellow, warm patina that showcases the attractive mahogany grain. The seat has been professionally reupholstered in a rich plum velvet, finished with a complementary dusty pink braid trim, giving the piece a refined and stylish appearance.

Originally made as a piano stool, it is equally suited as a hall seat, bedroom or dressing table stool, offering both decorative appeal and practical hidden storage.
