Early 19th century Vernacular/primitive Silvered antique bench
Stunning, very rare early 19th century, primitive constructed outside bench. The bench is beautifully silvered with some original square nails still on show.
Condition: Some of the original nails have been replaced over time with more modern nails and a few screws (to the bottom side) Both diagonal support slats to the bottom of the chair have been replaced but this is to be expected from such a rare survivor. The bench is still structurally sound and still functions perfectly as a bench.
