A fantastic early 20th century (Circa 1910-1920) triptych chinoiserie dressing table mirror. The black lacquered dressing mirror consists of a central framed swing mirror plate and folding side mirrors. The mirror is beautifully hand-decorated with polychrome and gold gilt traditional oriental scenery to the top of the central mirror, with further fine floral decoration to the frames. There are minor losses and historical repairs to the frame commensurate with age, but this does not distract from the delightful charm of the mirror (The mirror is structurally sound). There is some light foxing in some places on the mirror plate, adding to the wonderful charm.
