Late 19th-Century Meissen Plate
£0.00
This is a late 19th-century (circa 1880) Meissen display plate with a slightly retracted and scalloped edge. The plate is intricately hand-painted in rich polychrome colours depicting still life grapes on the vine with peaches. The plate's rim was originally gold gilt but this has been rubbed over time. There is a very small bit of gilt trace left in some of the "valleys" of the plate's rim. Exceptional quality display plate.
