An impressive and beautifully decorated large vintage Chinese porcelain floor vase, standing 56cm (22 inches) high and finished in a delicate celadon green glaze.

The elegant baluster body is richly decorated with four hand-painted landscape reserves in underglaze cobalt blue, depicting dramatic mountain scenery, rivers, waterfalls, pavilions and traditional sailing junks. The scenes are enhanced with subtle iron-red and green enamel highlights, creating a striking contrast against the soft celadon ground.

The body and neck are further embellished with finely moulded and incised floral and wave patterns beneath the glaze, while the wide flared neck features matching landscape panels, giving the vase a balanced and refined appearance from every angle.

Likely produced in Jingdezhen, China's renowned porcelain centre, during the late 20th century (circa 1970–1990), the vase draws inspiration from classic Qing Dynasty decorative porcelain while being intended as an impressive decorative statement piece.

Presented in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration observed. The unmarked glazed base is typical of quality export wares of the period.
