A fantastic vintage, well-cast bronze, polychrome and gilt decorated statue of a female Buddha/Green Tara ("Venerable Mother of Liberation") in Tibetan Buddhism. As a deity, Green Tara is known as the "Great Liberator" and is associated with healing and protection. The statue is beautifully polychrome, hand-decorated with further 24-carat gold decoration.
